Out with the old, in with the new. Its metal
replacement time!
This is Omar, he is the body man who is doing the work on my
car, along with me.
Omar is one of the best body men I have ever met, this guy is
a Michael Angelo with cars.
Here you see him cutting out the old rear deck filler panel.
Again, we see him working on the rear deck filler.
He is now fixing a small rot hole in the upper left of the rear
window channel.
Bye, bye rotten trunk floor.
Anyone need a slightly used trunk floor?
Looks like its a little easier to work in there now.
Oh my, where did my rear suspension go?
Hmmm...how shall we cut up this perfect rust free qtr....
Out with the old....
In with the new....
No need to remove the old rot, its falling out by itself...
No more rot on this side...
(btw, I loaned them my welder, as theirs is broke)
Its miller time...oops, I mean filler.
I hit the inside, the door jambs and underside with POR-15.
Any area that needed to be top-coated, was dusted with primer
when the POR got tacky.
And my nice new trunk floor got POR'ed.
